Mandatory to meet quality system compliance requirements for the production and placing on the market of Ex equipment, which is designed, manufactured and covered by ATEX type certification.

IECEx QUALITY ASSESSMENT

IECEx certified to maintain a quality management system for the manufacture of Ex equipment used in potentially explosive atmospheres. Mandatory to meet quality system compliance requirements for the production and placing on the market of Ex equipment, which is designed, manufactured and covered by ATEX type certification. Manufacturer’s quality requirements are an integral part of most certification schemes and this standard has been developed with the IECEx equipment certification requirements in mind, and is applicable with other international certification schemes covering the manufacture of explosion protection equipment.
